Hello, I am reaching out to seek assistance with rent. I was laid off due to the pandemic. I am a single dad that shares custody 50/50 of my two kids. I live in a modest apartment to make ends meet. I had difficulty getting my first round of unemployment. I finally got it worked out paid my rent and thought I could sustain this until the restaurant I work in reopens and I am called back. My last payment for unemployment was denied again. I thought I had it all worked out and I cannot get through to talk to anyone. I spend about 8 hours a day calling while I look for any type of employment online. I had some savings but it was depleted while waiting for the confusion to be cleared up. Savings is gone and end/first of the month is here. Last time it took about 2 weeks to get it all worked out. I don't have 2 weeks or the funds to pay. I don't know if you offer this or is you can refer me. I am going back to work I just need a bridge to get there. I would be even willing to pay it back in payments if that helps. Thank you for your time and I hope there is some relief you may be able to offer or direct me to.
