Atlantic City Housing Authority Rental Assistance Program

The Section 8 Housing Assistance Program is a tenant-based assistance Federal Program which is regulated by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The program provides Rental assistance to eligible applicants based on the income of the household. When the Atlantic City Housing Authority s Section 8 Housing Assistance Program wait list is open, notifications will be placed in The Press of Atlantic City newspaper, public service announcements will be placed on television and radio, and notification is sent to all area churches, social service agencies, and other community organizations. You will be asked to complete an Initial Application. Based upon the information provided on the initial application, the eligibility of your family will be determined. Currently, your family income must be at or below the following income limits established by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development:
