Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program On 17 February 2009, President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which provides for the allocation of $1.5 billion to the United States. Department of Planning and Development - LAKEWOOD offers program that called the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), is distributed based on the formula used for the Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) program. You can also fund outside your jurisdiction, to a grantee outside your jurisdiction, or to a grantee who provides services to multiple jurisdictions. A payee may establish more stringent requirements, such as requiring that HPRP funds be spent within the jurisdiction or establishing a residency requirement, but HUD does not establish such requirements.     I need help with rent, also my son has high lead level because of my house .I also got an eviction and I cant do it all on my own ,and im afraid that i will be homeless with no where to go.
