Valley Assistance provides rental assistance to qualified households meeting service area, income and documentation requirements; information, referral and resources provided. All applicants must schedule an appointment so that the MAP (Monetary Assistance Program) team can provide one-to-one customer service to help individuals, families and seniors build their safety net.
Limited funding available through HUD/Emergency Services for Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention Services (must meet HUD income and Fair Market Rent requirements). The MAP team is currently partnered with the Sahuarita Food Bank and the Good Shepherd Church to provide information, referral, SNAP assistance and prescreening at the Food Bank on the first and third Thursdays from 2-4 PM; where there are 5 weeks in a month, outreach is second and fourth Thursdays from 2-4 PM.
