Homeless prevention and rapid relocation programme On 17 February 2009, President Obama signed the U.S. Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which earmarks $1.5 billion for a Homelessness Prevention Fund. Department of Health and Human Services - MONTGOMERY COUNTY offers homeless prevention and rapid rehousing programme (hprp) that is being allocated under the formula used by the emergency housing grant (esg) programme. Grant recipients may provide assistance or services for rent to eligible Program Participants who live or wish to live outside their jurisdiction. They may also finance grantees who serve persons outside the jurisdiction, secondary grantees located outside jurisdictions, and grantees who serve in multiple jurisdictions. A scholarship holder can set stricter requirements, e.g. B. the use of HPRP funds within the jurisdiction or the establishment of a residence requirement, but HUD does not specify these requirements.
