Through funds awarded by the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program, Organized Community Action Program, Inc. provides emergency assistance to unemployed, under-employed, and less than fully employed people. These individuals are without means to provide for themselves when funds are available, OCAP can make a one-time rent/mortgage payment to prevent eviction and a one time utility payment to provide persons with assistance through crisis times in their life.

My husband passed away Dec 16 had to send his social security check back I wont get it back til Feb. my land lord is wanting his money I have no money. just need this months rent paid. Please I need help for this month.

I fall behind on my rent this month and they will not let me make monthly installment to get caught up on my rent.
