About Fairfield Township Public Assistance

Opportunities for assistance through the Fairfield Township Trustee’s Office include: The current month’s rent (past month’s rent cannot be addressed) Electric, gas or water bills that are in disconnect status Burial assistance, when no other means of payment is available A payee program for individuals experiencing difficulty managing Social Security income or funds from other public assistance programs Bring the following information to the Fairfield Township Trustee’s Office to begin the application process: A signed, current lease for the residence in which you currently reside or a mortgage coupon Copies of all current utility bills Indiana picture ID or driver’s license for each adult 18 years or older in the household (All adults must be present at the time of application.) Social Security Cards for all members of the household, adults and children Birth Certificates for all members of the household, adults and children

Hello, I hope you are having a wonderful afternoon. I am currently looking for guidance or assistance on my current months rent due the 10th. I am struggling this month making ends meet due to the covid-19. I will receive one last check from my current employer then have to file for unemployment. I trying to make extra money by door dashing however it is very difficult to make enough for rent. Thanks, Ashley Gaeta
