Union County Department of Social Services is designed to assist a family or individual through a crisis in order to prevent a potentially larger and more costly crisis from occurring.
It can be cost effective in eliminating emergency situations which would otherwise leave families at risk of long term dependence.
Funds can be used towards: Rent Utilities Food Clothing and other This program assists Union County residents who are in a crisis that requires very limited temporary financial help to alleviate the emergency.
The use of these funds is often viewed as a preventative measure.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Mission Statement: The mission of Union County Crisis Assistance Ministry is to provide a bridge from crisis to stability for individuals in our community who are at risk of losing their most basic necessities of shelter and food during crucial times in their lives.
