Bronxworks

BronxWorks has several homelessness prevention programs designed to help low-income renters in emergency situations achieve housing stability and better lives.   For most programs you do not need to be on welfare to get help.   These services are free. Their experienced staff will help you: Understand the legal process Inform you of your tenant rights Seek funds for emergency rental assistance and utility assistance Navigate housing court Work with you to avoid eviction Help you take measures to prevent threats of eviction from reoccurring
