Oberlin Community Services Council

RENT ASSISTANCERent assistance is usually available February through August when Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) funding is available. Many clients needing rental assistance are referred to the Housing Service Program through the Nord Center. Lorain County residents who qualify may receive money for preventing foreclosures or evictions, paying security deposits, and paying the rent. Interested in rent assistance through OCS?OCS may be able to help if you live within our service area. If you are a resident of Oberlin or southern Lorain County, call our office phone (440) 774-6579 to find out if rent assistance is available. You can also stop by the office to speak with our case worker during business hours.
