Homeless and Rapid Re-Housing Prevention Program On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which included $1.5 billion in homelessness prevention funds. Human Services - SPOKANE offers program that called the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Relocation Program (HPRP), is being distributed based on the formula used for the Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) program. Scholars may provide assistance or rental services to eligible program participants who reside or would like to reside outside their jurisdiction. You can also fund outside your jurisdiction, to a grantee outside your jurisdiction, or to a grantee who provides services to multiple jurisdictions. A scholarship holder can set stricter requirements, e.g. B. the use of HPRP funds within the jurisdiction or the establishment of a residence requirement, but HUD does not specify these requirements.
