Chandler Community Action Program

The Chandler Christian Community Center meets the basic human needs, including emergency food boxes for people in crisis in the Chandler community and works to empower individuals and families by providing programs that develop skills needed for self-sufficiency and long-term change. Chandler Christian Community Center's overarching long term goal is to reduce hunger among residents of the greater Chandler area.•To support and cultivate goodwill and understanding among all races, creeds, religions and nationalities •To fulfill emergency needs for persons and families in crisis •To empower the people we serve with needed skills and resources to work toward self-sufficiency •To expand partnerships and strengthen community relations in order to benefit the people that we serve It is an unfortunate reality that many people will be in need of emergency assistance at some time in their lives. The sudden loss of a job, a catastrophic event or illness, even extreme weather can create unmanageable burdens for anyone. All requests for assistance must be accompanied by a Prescreening Packet:  English Version : http://chandlerfoodbank.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Prescreening-Application-Eng.pdf Spanish Version: http://chandlerfoodbank.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Prescreening-Application-SPN.pdf If you live in Gilbert, Chandler, Sun Lakes, or the Maricopa County portion of Queen Creek, you may download and complete a prescreening packet prior to coming into our office or call for other ways to submit your request.
