Department of Social Services - Hialeah combination of resources the city has a program designed to assist families and individuals who are facing or are on the verge of homelessness. Since its inception in 1987, the City has provided emergency shelter, case management, support services, one-off help with paying utilities, rental assistance, legal services, food vouchers, household goods, etc. to help homeless families and individuals overcome the crisis and ultimately become self-sufficient.     I am retired, 68 years old and my monthly check from SSI is $872.00. I lost my house and I am renting but since october/2020 I can't pay my rent. I can't wait for an EVICTION.
