United Way Services of Geauga County funds a network of programs and initiatives that work together to make our community stronger. United Way Services of Geauga County provides support to various direct services programs that support those in our community. These programs are provided as a safety net for those who are unable to meet basic needs on an emergency basis. Works with a variety of churches and charities to provide temporary emergency financial aid for residents of Geauga County. Financial Services provides: Rent and mobile home lot payments Mortgage payments Utility bill payments Fuel oil and gas money Home repair Furnace repair Stranded traveler assistance Vouchers for clothing that may be used at thrift stores. Financial assistance to access medical services, prescription medications (does not help with over the counter medications), and other urgent needs if deemed necessary and appropriate.
