Office of Community Development (OCD) - WASHINGTON COUNTY offers program that called homeless prevention and rapid re-housing programs (hprp), are distributed based on formulas used in emergency shelter grant (esg) programs. Grant recipients may provide rental services or services to program participants who live or wish to reside outside their jurisdiction. In addition, they may fund grantees that serve individuals outside of jurisdiction, grantees that are outside of jurisdiction, and grantees that serve multiple jurisdictions. A payee may establish more stringent requirements, such as requiring that HPRP funds be spent within the jurisdiction or establishing a residency requirement, but HUD does not establish such requirements.
