Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Relocation Program On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which included $1.5 billion in homelessness prevention funds. Department of Community Services - CLARK COUNTY offers program that called Homelessness Prevention and the Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), is distributed based on the formula used in the Emergency Grants Shelter (ESG) program. Beneficiaries may provide rental assistance or services to eligible program participants who reside or wish to reside outside their jurisdiction. They may also finance ubgrantes serving outside the jurisdiction, sub-grenades that are outside the jurisdiction, and sub-grenades serving multiple jurisdictions. The Grant Recipient may establish stricter requirements, such as requiring HPRP funds to be spent within the jurisdiction or requiring residence, but the HUD does not establish these requirements.     Question: We own a property in Vancouver and our tenant cannot pay rent due to long term disability insurance has not (kicked in). We provided Feb rent and utilities for her but still waiting for the checks to arrive for March. Can she get rental assistance until this get resolved? Do not want to ask her to leave the property which there is not alternative housing right now.

    Hi there- I am in need of some rental help. i have 2 daughters and i work full time and i am behind because of the covid19 and being sick myself. I am new here and just moved from Klamath County when they had us evacuate because of the fires. I am under a protective order from the state of Oregon and am really needing some help-
