A community group that felt the need to help families in crisis in their community founded North County Community Food Bank in 1996. They provide food to families and that is one of our main purposes. The goal is to find out way they came to need food. By finding out how they got to that situation we can then help them find the path to having a stable household again. They also referral residents to other programs that can assist them with their needs.
